It is this "authenticity" that Matthias Berg (horn) and Daniel Stelter (guitar) have sought out in all of these well-known Christmas songs. Through the previously unknown combination of horn and guitar, completely new sonic dimensions have evolved, and freed from this instrumental ballast, they manage by “omission" to create musical gems. - "Little Gifts" that can carry the clear, catchy, and enchanting melodies deep into our consciousness where they can seep into our souls ...
Some of the arrangements enjoy a further enrichment through the simple beauty of two very young voices (Clara and Antonia, Matthias Berg's 13- and 11-year-old nieces), the special timbre of the German-French singer Marie Séférian and the soulful sound of singer Johny Rogers from Chicago.

Mattias Berg began playing the horn as a 7-year-old. Since then he has won awards at many national and international competitions and has performed as soloist with various orchestras and ensembles worldwide. His repertoire ranges from baroque to modern, and from classical to jazz.
Parallel to his musical studies, Matthias Berg has completed a law degree and is one of the most successful disabled athletes in the world (a total of 27 medals at the Paralympics and World Championships, plus 39 German Championships). For more than 25 years, he has regularly gone into schools to talk with students about what it’s like to live with thalidomide disability, how to overcome your own limits and barriers, and how to successfully find a place in life.
